CIS WELCOMES DR. MANPREET SINGH TO ZACHARY

Cardiovascular Institute of the South (CIS) announces the addition of Dr. Manpreet Singh,
interventional cardiologist, to its team of physicians in Zachary at 6550 Main Street, Suite 1000.
Dr. Singh specializes in interventional cardiology, performing a wide range of heart and vascular
procedures, including advanced treatments for peripheral vascular disease. He provides comprehensive cardiovascular care, from prevention through diagnosis and treatment. His clinical areas of focus include preventive cardiology, cardiometabolic syndrome, congestive heart failure, and heart rhythm disorders.
He is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, and interventional cardiology.
Dr. Singh earned his Bachelor of Science in Life Sciences from The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio, in 2001, and his Doctor of Medicine from Medical University of the Americas in St. Kitts & Nevis, West Indies, in 2008. He completed his internal medicine residency at Ochsner Clinic Foundation in New Orleans in 2011 and continued his training at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, where he completed his cardiology fellowship in 2014 and his interventional cardiology fellowship in 2016.
He is certified by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) and holds
additional certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS). Dr. Singh is a member of the American College of Cardiology.
