As we dive headfirst into the unwritten chapters of a brand-new year, there's a buzz in the air pushing us all toward positive shifts and personal betterment. So, with resolutions in full swing and the vibe set for a life with a bit more structure, I'm excited to bring you our January edition and an 18-page feature on Starting Fresh.

Don’t worry, we’re not going to tell you what to eat and how to work out. The main feature zeroes in on the game-changing magic of organization, with some crowdsourced tips on controlling the chaos. Also, in the spirit of resolutions, we’ve compiled a checklist to help you take charge of your health by making some proactive doctor appointments.

If you don’t take any of our advice, that’s fine – but at least take a peek at our Valentine’s feature on page 42 and listen to the timeless wisdom of our elders. Field & Garden Section Editor Mike Gennaro, who’s my work husband but also my actual husband, spent the long holiday break going hog wild. Read more about this on page 10, and don’t come near me with pork until at least Q2 of 2024.

Finally, we hope you enjoy this 48-pager – our longest ever! – and enjoy the expanded stories and photos of many familiar faces. Best wishes for a happy 2024!
