Off The Hook To Open in Zachary – Bold Cajun Flavors & Fresh Seafood Await!

Feb 10, 2025 10:40AM ● By Lauren Pope

Off The Hook is bringing its bold, no-nonsense Cajun flavors to Zachary. The ribbon-cutting ceremony is set for Thursday, February 27th at its newest location on 5353 Main Street, taking over the location last occupied by Hwy 55. Known for serving up fresh, made-to-order seafood with deep Louisiana roots, Off The Hook is ready to serve up the kind of flavors locals know and love, from crispy fried catfish to a rich, slow-cooked gumbo.

"The City of Zachary's Department of Economic Development celebrates the arrival of Zachary's newest restaurant, Off The Hook. We are proud to have been chosen as the newest home to a Louisiana-born, family-owned brand who proudly serves Cajun family recipes in a quick service concept. We look forward to the community embracing, supporting, and showing love to this new business and treating them as part of our dear Zachary family. Welcome to Zachary, Off the Hook!," says Ashleigh McHugh, Director of Economic Development

If you’ve eaten at Off The Hook before, you know they do it right—no shortcuts, no skimping on flavor. Their menu is packed with Louisiana classics, including the crowd-favorite Fish & Shrimp Platter, fried to perfection and bringing back memories of a backyard fish fry. The Roast Beef Po’boy, fully dressed on Leidenheimer bread, is as messy and delicious as it should be. And if you’re craving something straight from the bayou, their Chicken & Sausage Gumbo is just the ticket—rich, dark, and loaded with flavor.

They use only the best—Paul Piazza Wild Caught Gulf Shrimp, Blue Plate Mayo, and that signature Leidenheimer French bread that’s been holding po’boys together since 1896. It’s about tradition, keeping things real, and making sure every meal feels like home.

Doors will be open from 10:30 AM to 9:00 PM daily, giving folks plenty of time to swing by for a plate of something good. Whether you’re stopping in for lunch or grabbing a family meal to-go, Off The Hook promises big flavors and bigger portions, just the way we like it.

Mark your calendar for February 27th, and come on out to celebrate. Zachary is about to get a whole lot tastier.
