Zachary Elementary School fourth-graders celebrated Twos Day on 2/22/22 with a Vocabulary Parade inspired by the book “Miss Alaineus: A Vocabulary Disaster” by Debra Frasier. Each fourth-grader chose a vocabulary word from a suggested word list and designed a costume or poster to represent the meaning of their word. Third-grade students watched the parade, helping everyone learn new words!
“It was great to see all students excited about learning in a fun way. The creativity and costumes were amazing. This event will be something that our students will always remember,” Keisha Thomas, ZES Principal.
