The Zachary Fire Department received a 2021 Ferrara Fire Apparatus Fire Engine. This truck will replace a fire engine that has served the City of Zachary for twenty-five years. After a full day of equipping and training on the new apparatus, it has been put into front line service at Station 83 located on the east side of the city at 9366 Main Street.
In a post on Facebook, the Zachary Fire Department thanked the Mayor, City Council, and City Administration for entrusting the department with the state-of-the-art piece of equipment that will be used to protect the citizens of Zachary for many years to come.
