Kyle Watson announced his candidacy for the District 1 School Board seat on the Zachary Community School Board. His official announcement follows.
I’m Kyle Watson, and I’m running for School Board District 1. I feel that the successes of the Zachary Community School System have driven enormous growth and we as parents and business owners have the ultimate skin in the game when it comes to continuing and building upon those successes. My kids will start at Rollins Place this coming school year in the Zachary Community School District. Kristi, my wife, is very involved in ZEPTO. I’m a local business owner in Zachary of a third-generation family business, Ozark Insurance Agency. As you can see, we are very invested in Zachary Schools and in the City of Zachary as a whole.
In Zachary, we have a lot of resources, and we can either rest on our laurels or move this community into the future. The Zachary Community School District is the glue that joins this city together. I feel that our best days are still ahead of us and that is why I feel compelled to serve. If you are like me, you want your children to have the best education possible. I am asking for your support on November 8th to help me be your representative to the Zachary Community School Board for District 1.
