City receives beautification grant from Home Depot Foundation

This holiday season, The Home Depot Foundation presented the City of Zachary with a $5,150.00 grant to beautify the entrances of our city at Hwy. 19 and Main Street. “Beautifully planned and maintained landscaping at this major corridor will enhance the appeal of Zachary and is an investment in our community,” says Mayor David Amrhein.

Mayor Amrhein and Zachary Beautification Chairman Sharon Phillips received the grant in the form of Home Depot gift cards from Zachary Home Depot Store Manager Michael Pitts.

The beautification project will begin in January and include Louisiana native trees and shrubs. The City of Zachary is pleased to partner with The Home Depot Foundation and appreciates its community support.
