
The weekend kicks off with the lighting of the town Christmas tree at the town hall, followed by the Jingle Bell Mingle on Commerce St. with live music, dancing, and food on Friday evening, December the 2nd, at 6:00. Slide into one of the many shops exploring gift options for those special people in your life. Also, you can’t forget about the lighting display at the WFP Hospital and the most excellent live Nativity at the First Baptist Church on Hwy 61.
Enjoy the many activities on Saturday December 3rd, such as, the Rudolph Run 5k and Donnor Dash 1 mile fun run, from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., live music in Parker Park, Artist in Parker Park, the Polar Express train for the kiddos to ride down Ferdinand St., just like Tommy Hanks in that Polar Express movie 😉.
The Festivities continue through Sunday December 4th, with the grand finale Christmas Parade that marches down Ferdinand St. Come check out the big guy in red. I think he may be the Real McCoy.
