Heritage Ranch hosted the 6th annual Matt Flynn Open at the Copper Mill Golf Club in Zachary on Tuesday, October 4th. Thirty-two teams gathered on a beautiful fall day to support Heritage Ranch, and golfers enjoyed delicious food and beverages on and off the course from restaurants including Phil’s Oyster Bar, The Bulldog, Kolache Kitchen, South Plains Food Company, and more. Thanks to the generosity of sponsors and golfers, more than $45,000 was raised in support of Heritage Ranch.
When asked why he and his wife Lacey support the event, Matt Flynn, LSU’s former starting quarterback who went on to play for the Green Bay Packers, stated: “The Ranch provides a top-notch program in an ideal environment that goes a long way toward strengthening children, their families and our community. Their work is crucial for boys struggling with seemingly insurmountable challenges at such a critical time in their lives, as they are becoming young men.”
Since 2009, Heritage Ranch has served our communities by providing a Christian home environment for boys in crisis while providing counseling for the entire family.
